I was raised in a remote southeastern little town in Oregon. Raised on ranches and around nothing but open spaces...I find myself living amidst the cramped, noisy, grocery store 2 mintues away of the city. My neighbors house is a meer ten feet away and I find myself dreaming of the country and the quiet solitude of the endless space and the lack of anything barking, screeching or hollering. The noise of a cow mooing, horses whinnying and the very rare vehicle would be a sign of relief. I am a wife, a mother, a nurse, a sister, a daughter and at my core a country gal caught in the middle of city living.

My parents came to visit this last weekend and they came from the small little city of Lakeview. They enjoy coming to the city and getting to eat gelato, frozen yogurt, Local Boyz and American Dream pizza and of course play with there grandson. Today I stopped by one of my favorite coffee spots, the drive-in Dutch Bros…I love drive-ins especially as a mom. I really appreciate anything that can be bought in a drive through. It’s convenient you don’t have to lug the kid in the heavy, awkward car seat around or take 20 minutes getting the kid in […]
